Jagalchi Station (line 1, exit 7). Walk straight passing the 1st road (on your left), turn left at the 2nd road (Gwangjang-ro) to BIFF Square, walk straight about 150m, turn right onto Gwangbo-ro to Gwangbokro Fashion Street, walk for another 440m and the escalator to Yongdusan Park will be on your left. 13 mins walk.

Nampo Station (line 1, exit 1). Walk straight, turn right on the first street, Gudeok-ro 22beon-gil and walk straight to reach the escalator leading to Yongdusan Park. 3 mins walk.
Yongdusan Park sits on Yongdu Mountain (or Yongdusan), one of the three famous mountains in Busan.
The mountain was originally called Songhyeonsan Mountain, referring to a mountain with sea view through the dense pine tree forest. It was later renamed to Yongdu Mountain as the mountain peak was shaped similar to a dragon's head (Yongdu), protecting the area from foreign sea invaders.

Busan Diamond Tower 부산다이아몬드타워
The most significant structure at Yongdusan Park is the Busan Diamond Tower. It was originally named as Busan Tower when it first opened in 1973. After the redevelopment project in 2021, it reopened and renamed as Busan Diamond Tower.
The top of the 120m tall Busan Diamond Tower is modelled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju.

If you are staying a few days in Busan and would be visiting most tourist attractions, you can consider to stay a few nights in Nampo-dong (Central Busan) before moving to East Busan (for Haeundae, Cheongsapo, Gijang).
Nampo-dong is serviced by 2 popular subway stations, Nampo Station and Jagalchi Station on Line 1. These stations are only 2-3 subway stops away from Busan Station and 8-9 stops away to Seomyeon Station on the same line.
💡It generally takes about an 1hr on subway from Haeundae Station to Jagalchi/Nampo Station with 1 line transfer.
Besides getting to Nampo's attractions easily, Nampo is a good base for public buses to Songdo Beach, Busan Air Cruise, Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge, Huinnyeoul Culture Village, Jeoryeong Coastal Trail, Gamcheon Culture Village and Taejongdae Resort Park. Several Busan day tours offer pick up from Nampo as well.
