There is a City Airport Terminal at Seoul Station (AREX) for passengers on selective airlines using AREX Express Train service to check in their same-day international flight departures and luggage.
a) Airlines for City Airport Terminal Check-in at Seoul Station (AREX)
City Airport Terminal check-in is limited to Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, T'way Air, Air Seoul, Air Busan, Lufthansa, Eastar Jet, Korean Air and Jin Air.

b) City Airport Terminal Check-in Procedures
To use the City Airport Terminal for flight check in, you must first purchase your AREX Express Train Ticket (with your preferred train departure time to Incheon Airport) and enter the check-in gate using the train ticket QR code.
Lockers at Seoul Station
Lockers of various sizes, located near both exits of Seoul Station are available for travellers' usage.
Basic charge ranges from ₩1,000 to ₩3,000 per locker, for the 1st 2 hours of usage. Additional charges apply after 2 hours and paid on luggage retrieval. Cash payment available.

Seoul Subway Station (Line 1, Line 4 & Gyeongchun Line)
Seoul Station is also connected to three Seoul Subway Lines (line 1, 4 & Gyeongchun Line) for the convenience of travellers to Seoul.
Take Exit 2 from Seoul Station (KTX/AREX) and follow the signs to take the escalators to the basement floor for the Subway line 1 & 4.
How to get from Seoul Subway Station to Myeongdong
At Seoul Station (subway), take the subway on Line 4 direct to Myeongdong. Myeongdong Station is the second stop after Seoul Station.
💡If you are travelling with heavy luggage, please note that you may need to carry your luggage up the stairs from the train platform to the exit gantry of Myeongdong Station. From there, you can use Myeongdong Station Exit 7 or Exit 3 (across the road to Hotel Prince Seoul / Hotel Pacific Seoul) with escalator access to street level.
Recommended Places to visit at/near Seoul Station
Besides the various shopping and dining options available at Seoul Station (KTX/AREX), there are also Lotte Outlets (Seoul Station Branch) and Lotte Mart Zettaplex (Seoul Station Branch) conveniently connected to Seoul Station. A short walk away is Seoullo 2017 (overhead garden sky walk) with one of the paths leading to Namdaemun Market.

You may consider to stay near Seoul Station for its convenience especially if you have early morning flights and plan to take AREX Train to Incheon International Airport (Terminal 1 / Terminal 2); or early morning trains (e.g. KTX/ITX) out of Seoul (e.g. to Busan).
