Olympic Park is the legacy of the 1988 Seoul Olympics and houses South Korea largest sports arena. It is now a place for locals to relax and unwind.
Olympic Park encompasses the land that was once Mongchontoseong Fortress and Mongchonhaeja (man-made lake) from the early Baekje period (18 BCE to 660 CE, one of the Three Kingdoms of ancient Korea alongside Goguryeo and Sillia).
The large park would take probably over 3 hours to explore and is divided into several zones, including a Leisure Sports Park, Cultural Art Park, Environmental Eco-Park and History Experience Park dedicated to the area’s rich historic heritage.
