Anguk Station (line 3, exit 2). 10 mins walk.
Bukchon Hanok Village is a must-visit for many visitors to Seoul. The village is home to over 900 traditional Korean houses (hanoks) dated back to Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). Today, Bukchon Hanok Village is also popular for its Michelin's restaurants and famous trending cafes.
Bukchon (Northern Village) was so called as it lies north of Cheonggyecheong Stream and Jongno. The hanoks are once lived by members of the royal family and aristocrats during Joseon Dynasty.
Besides cafes and restaurants, many of these hanoks also operate as cultural centers, guesthouses and tea houses today, providing visitors the opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in traditional Korean culture.
💡When visiting Bukchon Hanok Village, please be mindful to keep your voices down in consideration of the residents living there.

📳 Install 'Catch Table' (International Version - English) app on iOS or Android. Sign in to 'Catch Table' using your Apple or Google accounts. Note: There are less restaurants on Catch Table (International Version) compared to the local Korean version.

If the kiosk has foreign language interface (i.e. English, Chinese - Simplified, Chinese - Traditional & Japanese), select your preferred language, scan the QR code on the screen to proceed with the queue registration on your mobile using Apple or Google accounts. Check your email on the latest queue status. If only Korean language is available, you might need a local Korean mobile number to register for your queue number and KakaoTalk messenger for receiving real-time queue notifications.
