Top 9 Scenic Walking & Hiking Trails in Busan

Busan Green Railway (/Haeundae Green Railway) is a 4.8km coastal walking trail and green park built alongside the former railway line, together with the popular Haeundae Beach Train and Haeundae Sky Capsule.

The award winning wooden deck trail runs from Haeundae Mipo, Cheongsapo to Songjeong with exits leading to observatories, beaches, lighthouses, cafes and restaurants.

Kick start on the easy 450m coastal trail around the small Dongbaek Island from Haeundae Beach.

The trail will lead to a 2.5m high mermaid statue, suspension bridge and lighthouse observatory with view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Oryukdo Islets.

From there, you can continue on the 930m circular road to Nurimaru APEC House and around the island's nature forest with camellia trees and pine trees.

Osiria Coastal Walk is a 2.1km well-maintained walking trail along the coast, perfect for those who wish for an easy leisure walk close to the clear water edge.

The trail starts near Ananti Cove luxury resort town to Orangdae Park, a famous sunrise spot with Yongwangdan, a temple built on top of a large rock.

Sirangdae and Orangdae are two of the Eight Scenic Views of Gijang in Busan. Since ancient times, the beauty of Sirangdae was widely known.

The name 'OSIRIA' for Osiria Station, Osiria Theme Park and Osiria Coastal Walk in Gijang orginated from a combination of their names. It further established the beauty of these two best hidden places, worthy for a visit in Busan.

The walking trail will bypass Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and Ananti Cove along the coast.

Songdo Coastal Bolle-gil Trail connects Songdo Beach and Amnam Park in about 1.2km via a striking red iron deck along the coastal cliff edge.

You can enjoy enjoy view of Songdo's attractions like Namhangdaegyo Bridge, Songdo Beach and Busan Air Cruise along the walk. 

A Busan geosite, you can observe dinosaur egg nest fossils formed 100 million years ago.

A rare natural ecology park with superb coastal views and magnificent cliffs of sedimentary rocks formed about 100 million years ago where traces of dinosaurs were found.

There are several easy walking trails in the forest with suspension bridge, photo zones and observatories.

Other popular attractions at the park include Busan Air Cruise Cable Car, Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge and Dino Adventure.

Jeoryeong Coastal Trail is a 3km course starting from near the base of Huinnyeoul Culture Village along the coastline to Jungni Beach.

The 1st 800m below Huinnyeoul Culture Village is an easy walking path. Once exit from Huiunyeoul Coastal Tunnel, the trail transforms to a nature course of pebble beach, rocks and cliff edge.

Jeoryeong Haerang-Gil is an easy 2km clifftop walking trail alongside the main road, Jeoryeong-ro. It starts from Huinnyeoul Observatory near Huinnyeoul Culture Village to 85 Plaza near Jungni Beach.

Jeoryeong Haerang-Gil Trail runs parallel to Jeoryeong Coastal Trail located near the coastline. Highlights along the trail inlcude Yeongdo Sky Observatory with transparent glass floor and Octagonal Pavilion at 75 Square Park with breathtaking ocean views.

The Igidae Coastal Trail is a 4.7km scenic hiking trail in Nam-gu starting from Yongho Starlight Park to Dongsaengmal Observatory, Oryukdo Sunrise Park, Oryukdo Skywalk and Oryukdo Quay.

3 famous trails, namely Namparang Trail, Haeparang Trail and Busan Galmaet-gil Trails cross Igidae Coastal Trail, explaining its outstanding nature beauty. The trail is also recognised as geological site of Busan National Geopark.
